Shantel Nydegger

Shantel has spent 17 years serving her Tribe, driven by a deep belief in the power of people. Raised by parents who modeled compassion and commitment—especially her late mother, Suzie—Shantel learned early the importance of showing up for others. Mentors, coaches, and her experience in sports helped shape her servant-leadership style. She’s passionate about creating workplaces where people feel seen, valued, and supported to grow. Shantel hopes to be remembered as someone who led with heart, asked hard questions, and made space for honest conversations. Her work with the Camas Foundation reflects her commitment to equity, wellness, and community-led change—especially in the places closest to her heart.
